On December 9, 2011, Andrea Bocelli, along with The GRAMMY Museum Foundation celebrated the launch of The Andrea Bocelli Foundation with cocktails, dinner and a live performance, produced by WEC and Jo Champa, starring Andrea Bocelli, David Foster, Heather Headley, Anna Maria Martinez and other surprise guests at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.The foundation was created to raise funds and awareness for its efforts to fight poverty around the world and to help people overcome barriers caused by illness, discomfort or disability.
